Design Luxembourg X display.ed

As part of display.ed, the student fair dedicated to careers in art and design, organised by Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain, Design Luxembourg invites you to meet professional designers through two events that blend discovery and exchange.

Explore their workspaces during the Design Studio Tours, guided visits with stops at various studios, where you'll have the opportunity to engage with designers in an informal and friendly setting. Following the Design Studio Tours, join the talk Meet the Designers at 19:00 at Casino Luxembourg, where guest designers will share their experiences and diverse career paths.

This programme serves a dual purpose: strengthening connections within the design community and creating a space for dialogue with the public. It’s an invitation to immerse yourself in the world of design, draw inspiration from a variety of perspectives, and engage directly with designers.

Participation in the design studio tours is open to everyone, but registration is mandatory (read here below). If you are unable to join the studio tours, you are warmly invited attend Meet the Designers at Casino Luxembourg at 19:00.

• Tour 1: Hollerich-Gare Departure at 17:00: Design Hub, 42 rue de Hollerich, L-1740 Luxembourg-Hollerich Registration mandatory Studios visited: - Design Hub: Philippe Schroeder (creative technologist and photographer), Design Play Store (children’s toy design), Design Luxembourg (designers’ federation); and YO Studio (creative studio, architecture/communication), studio mado klümper (visual communication) - FARM: Julie Conrad (product/multidisciplinary designer), Ruth Lorang (multidisciplinary designer), Navid Razvi (videographer), Henri Schoetter (illustrator and visual artist) - Anne-Marie Herckes (fashion accessories designer)
  

• Tour 2: Bonnevoie Departure at 17:00: Studio Polenta, 19 rue des Légionnaires, L-1926 Luxembourg-Bonnevoie Registration mandatory Studios visited: - Studio Polenta, creative agency - Sensity, European consultancy and service provider

Both groups will arrive at 19:00 at Casino Luxembourg.

Learn about the careers of designers from a variety of backgrounds - design, of course, but also architecture, art, and many other fields. Guest designers will share their experiences and explain how these paths have shaped their careers or the development of their businesses. Talk followed by a networking drink. 💡 Participation in the Design Studio Tours is open to everyone, but registration is mandatory. 💡 Registration opens on 9 February 2025, 9:00. 💡 We offer two distinct tours at the same time (Tour 1 in Hollerich-Gare. Tour 2 in Bonnevoie). Please choose your preferred tour and register for only one. 💡 The tours are free of charge, but spots are very limited. If you register, please make sure to attend.
